Working with the Italian Architects, SD undertook a complete refurbishment of the building which involved the structural remodelling and fitting out of a high-end jewellery boutique, spread over 5 storeys including offices and included removal of the roof, stairs and all the floors from the basement to the fourth floor.

 

There were a number of key matters that were important to our client during the project:

Ensuring that neighbouring businesses- which included the Richard Green Gallery and Sotheby’s auction rooms - suffered no loss of revenue or prestige.

 

In order to achieve the project objectives, the shop fit-out was started whilst the structural works were still ongoing; although this is not unusual in the industry it is something which always requires careful planning and scheduling.
